My Story

I've been plant-based since January 2020 and exploring diets since 2010. I strongly believe that our diet greatly impacts how we feel and have experimented with various diets to find what works best for me. This journey has led me to become a Certified Health Coach & Holistic Nutritionist, and I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge to help others feel better and find more happiness in their lives.

I have tried the paleo, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free, and various other diets. Out of all these options, the plant-based diet resonates with me the most. I often refer to the "Blue Zones," which are regions with the highest number of people living to 100 years old, for inspiration. People in the Blue Zones live longer, healthier lives by staying active, eating lots of fruits and vegetables, having strong social connections, and keeping stress levels low. They also have a strong sense of purpose and often practice some form of daily relaxation or meditation.

I have noticed numerous benefits since adopting a plant-based diet, which have motivated me to continue with this lifestyle. I have experienced reduced inflammation, less brain fog, improved digestion, decreased bloating, increased energy levels, and incredible skin allergy relief. Additionally, I engage in regular CrossFit workouts 4-5 days a week and occasionally participate in long-distance running races. I have found that I feel strong and well-prepared for any training regimen I undertake.

What exactly is plant-based?

A Plant-based diet is at least 90% plants. Meaning that the other 10% of your diet can be from animal products. For me personally, this works best because with my social & free-spirited personality, I love trying new foods when I travel to new places. This way I can really get a grasp on the culture. I also leave the 10% for times when someone invites me for dinner. I love bonding with people over a super yummy & nutritious meal; it's one of my favorite things in the entire world! It also works for me because I as I mention in the afore paragraph, I've experienced great health benefits.
